Abstract

Consumer rights constitute the tool to prevent abuse of the dominant position of one of the parties in the consumer relationship, the provider. However, such aspiration will only be possible to the extent that society is educated to assume a leading role in this relationship.The following article is just one of the many interpretations that explain the results of the work with some authorities and with the representatives of the leagues of users existing in the municipality of Sincelejo. It discusses the relationship between the education of consumer rights and the role of these key actors in the process, explaining how finally the ignorance of the rules, is not a merely informative problem but transits through the scope of the subjectivities of the Official or representative of the leagues
