La belleza en Kant a través de los ojos del impresionismo

Abstract

El presente artículo se propone exponer el concepto de belleza kantiana a través del movimiento artístico del impresionismo. Así, mediante cuatro representaciones artística, se intentará dar una mejor comprensión de las cuatro definiciones que Immanuel Kant propone sobre la belleza en la Crítica del juicio. De esta manera, la primera definición versará sobre la universalidad de lo bello y la subjetividad; la segunda definición mostrará el por qué lo bello no posee concepto; la tercera definición hablará de la finalidad sin un fin determinado en la belleza, ya que se percibe algo inteligible; y la cuarta definición mostrará la importancia del sentido común, la imaginación y el entendimiento en la belleza. The present article aims to expose the concept of Kantian beauty through the artistic movement of Impressionism. Thus, through four artistic representations, an attempt will be made to give a better understanding of the four definitions that Immanuel Kant proposes about beauty in the Critique of judgment. In this way, the first definition will deal with the universality of beauty and subjectivity; the second definition will show why the beautiful has no concept; the third definition will speak of the finality without a determined end in beauty, since something intelligible is perceived; and the fourth definition will show the importance of common sense, the imagination and the understanding in beauty.
