Resumen
The objective of this research was to implement the educational software Árbol ABC, as astrategy for improving the literacy processes of third grade students of the indigenous educational institution No. 2, TaloulumaAna, in the municipality of Maicao La Guajira. For thedevelopment of this, theoretical references on reading, writing and the use of ICT in education were taken; by authors such as Romojaro, (2019), Bembibre, (2022), among other more relevant ones. And supported by the theories of Olarte Software, (2017), Romero (2017) and Cepeda, (2022), it was verified that it is a technological tool that provides the practical use of language and in a simple way prepares the student for learning, the technological techniques used link educational activities with the game, identifying the alphabet, words, puzzles, etc.;exercising the creative senses of the student. Methodologically, surveys were applied to teachers and students and school activities were also evaluated, such as identify, organize, write, read, complete, with the software.
